Purpose and legal basis

Visit data is processed for two purposes, based on the publisher's legitimate interests:

• Statistics: measuring traffic and the audience of the site. The publisher may be notified of visits.
• Security: detecting abusive or automated traffic and protecting the site.

The data is not sold and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Data collected

When you load a page, the following may be processed: your IP address, your approximate location (country, region, city) inferred from it, your browser, operating system and device type, the page visited, the referring website, your language and the time of the visit.

Your IP address is only stored in pseudonymised form.

Service providers

• Vercel for hosting;
• Upstash for storing statistics and security data;
• Discord for notifications to the publisher (visits and security alerts), which may include the pseudonymised visitor ID, approximate location, page, referrer, browser, operating system and device type.

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

Data stored by Asphalt Session is deleted after 30 days. Discord notifications are kept until the publisher deletes them.

Cookies

This site uses no tracking cookies and loads no third-party analytics or advertising scripts.

Your rights

You may access, rectify or erase your data, restrict its processing or object to it by contacting asphaltsession.corp@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
